PHILOSOPHY

Shame, societal and cultural expectations, trauma, and pain may have led you to living a life that doesn’t feel congruent with who you truly are. This incongruent living can add suffering to the pain that already exists. Acceptance of self, with all your strengths and shortcomings, is one of the most freeing and relieving experiences you can have. Through discovering your true self, being unapologetic for your human needs, and holding a posture of self-compassion, you can improve your relationship with yourself and develop deeper and more intimate connections with others.

You can only accurately reflect upon yourself and your relationships through a posture of acceptance and kindness. At Inner Haven, you can find a safe and nonjudgmental space, in which you can cultivate self-compassion and relieve yourself of the social mask that wears you down. Moreover, through therapy, you can embark on the journey to cultivate an inner haven and find the courage and wisdom to embrace yourself, live out your values, and reduce suffering.
