Fees
The current fee for a licensed clinical psychologist is $215 per 45 minute session and $300 per 90 minute session. Couples and trauma therapy appointments range from 45-90 minutes. Payments can be made via credit or debit card. You can opt into auto-pay if this is one less thing to check off your list and to reduce your mental load.
Sliding Scale
Inner Haven Psychology does not currently offer a sliding scale. Please view the “Resources” tab for free resources and don’t hesitate to reach out if you would like referrals to organizations where you can work with therapists in training for a lower fee.
Cancellation & No-Show Policy
If you cannot make it to your appointment, please inform your provider 24 hours in advance so the session time can be offered to someone else. If you are unable to reschedule before 24 hours or no-show to the session, you will be charged the full fee. If you are late to the session, the session will still end at the scheduled time.
Insurance
Inner Haven is in-network with Aetna in Washington, California, and Iowa, as well as Blue Shield of California, but out-of-network with other insurance providers. In-network managed mental health care brushes up against tight restraints and restrictions that can impact the quality and quantity of care. In order to offer the higher level of service, quality, and flexibility that many patients seek, Inner Haven is an out-of-network provider with most insurance plans. Payment is made at the time of the session directly by patients who are not utilizing insurance. However, a superbill can be provided to the patient to submit to their insurance company if insurance will reimburse a percentage of the cost for out-of-network providers. Insurance plans vary greatly, so checking with the insurance provider for policy details can be helpful.
